Does Slim Metrix have cinnamon?
No. Cinnamon is not on the Slim Metrix label. The mix-up comes from a sales-page testimonial that mentions it and a brand image file named for cinnamon that actually shows matcha green tea powder.
How many mcg of chromium does one Slim Metrix capsule have?
50 mcg per capsule, printed as 0.05 mg. The label calls that 41.67% of the Daily Value, which matches the old 120 mcg reference. Against today's 35 mcg Daily Value it is about 143% (NIH ODS: chromium fact sheet). Count any multivitamin chromium too.
Is there caffeine in Slim Metrix capsules?
The label does not say. It lists green tea leaf extract standardized to 50% EGCG but gives no caffeine amount, and green tea naturally contains some. If caffeine bothers you, ask your pharmacist before trying it.

30 days. Each bottle holds 30 capsules and the label serving is 1 capsule a day. The 2-bottle pack lasts 60 days, the 3-bottle pack 90 days and the 6-bottle pack about six months, as long as you take one a day.
What time of day should I take Slim Metrix?

Can I take two Slim Metrix capsules a day?
No. The label says adults take one capsule daily, and no study supports a higher dose of this blend. Two capsules would double the chromium to 100 mcg and double the green tea extract. Never take more than the label allows.
What if I miss a dose of Slim Metrix?
Just take the next capsule at your usual time. The label graphic gives no missed-dose advice, but it does set the limit at one capsule a day, so never take two to catch up.
Where should I keep my Slim Metrix bottle?
Keep the bottle closed, cool, dry and out of reach of children. The label graphic shows no storage line, so check your own bottle for one and follow it. Keep the empty bottles too, since the refund policy asks for them back.

Will Slim Metrix help me lose weight?
How fast will I lose weight on Slim Metrix?
No one can say, because no trial has tested Slim Metrix. Loss of about 1 to 2 pounds a week is more likely to stay off (CDC: losing weight). The sales page's timelines of 7 to 14 days and 60 to 90 days are the seller's words.
Is berberine a natural version of Ozempic?
No. Berberine is a plant compound, not a GLP-1 drug, and no study shows it acts like one. A 2025 review found small drops in waist size and fasting glucose, mostly in low-quality trials (Liu et al.: berberine and metabolic measures (meta-analysis)). Calling it nature's version of a prescription drug is a myth.
Can I take Slim Metrix with Ozempic or Wegovy?
Ask the doctor who prescribes it first. Slim Metrix has not been studied alongside any GLP-1 medicine. Several of its ingredients may lower blood sugar, which could add to your medicine's effect. Tell every prescriber about every supplement you take (NCCIH: using dietary supplements wisely).
Do I still need to diet and exercise with Slim Metrix?
Yes. The eating plan and activity do the real work. In the Diabetes Prevention Program, a 7% weight-loss goal plus 150 minutes of activity a week cut type 2 diabetes risk by 58% (NIDDK: Diabetes Prevention Program results). No capsule has shown results anywhere near that.
How much weight is realistic to lose in 6 months?

Can Slim Metrix help with prediabetes?
It has not been tested for that. Prediabetes means an A1C of 5.7% to 6.4% or a fasting glucose of 100 to 125 mg/dL, and losing 5 to 7% of your weight lowered diabetes risk in studies (NIDDK: prediabetes and insulin resistance). Ask your doctor about a lifestyle program.

Is Slim Metrix safe with my medicines?
Can Slim Metrix hurt my liver?
It is possible but rare. Green tea extract, one of its ingredients, is a well-established cause of liver injury, usually 1 to 6 months after starting (LiverTox: green tea). Stop and see a doctor if you notice yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or upper-right belly pain.
Does Slim Metrix have side effects?
No study lists them for Slim Metrix itself. Its ingredients can cause stomach upset or irritation, nausea, insomnia from ginseng and, rarely, liver injury from green tea extract (MSK About Herbs: alpha-lipoic acid) (NCCIH: Asian ginseng) (LiverTox: green tea). Low blood sugar is a risk with diabetes medicines. Stop if anything feels wrong.
Is Slim Metrix safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. Berberine can harm newborns and should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding (NCCIH: goldenseal and berberine), and cayenne should be avoided then too (MSK About Herbs: cayenne). The label says the product is for adults. Wait until after breastfeeding, and ask your doctor first.
Is the chromium picolinate in Slim Metrix safe for me?
It depends mostly on your medicines: chromium may add to the glucose-lowering effect of insulin or metformin (NIH ODS: chromium fact sheet). Slim Metrix gives 50 mcg, above today's 35 mcg Daily Value. If you take diabetes medicine, ask your doctor before starting.
Can I take Slim Metrix with a blood thinner?
Ask your doctor first. Resveratrol may raise bleeding risk with warfarin (MSK About Herbs: resveratrol), Korean ginseng may interfere with blood clotting (NCCIH: Asian ginseng), and milk thistle may interact with warfarin (MSK About Herbs: milk thistle). All three are in the blend, amounts unpublished.
Can Slim Metrix cause low blood sugar?
It could add to diabetes medicines. Chromium, alpha-lipoic acid and ginseng may each lower blood sugar. A reading below 70 mg/dL is low, and the risk is higher with insulin and sulfonylurea pills (NIDDK: low blood glucose). Watch for shakiness, hunger or dizziness.
