Line by line
What does each line of the label mean for me?
Most lines are routine. The chromium percentage and the blend deserve a closer look. Tap a line to read what it means.
Supplement Facts
Serving Size: 1 Capsule · Servings Per Container: 30 · typed from the brand's label graphic
One capsule a day, so one bottle lasts 30 days. Two bottles cover the full 60-day refund window.
Effectively no calories. Nothing on this label replaces a meal plan or changes what you eat.
Half the Daily Value. Adults should stay under 40 mg a day from all sources, so count any multivitamin too.
0.05 mg is 50 mcg. The 41.67% matches an old 120 mcg Daily Value; against today's 35 mcg it is about 143%.
Eight ingredients share 276 mg with no single amounts. If split equally, each would be about 34.5 mg; the real split is not published.
Blend ingredients are listed from most to least by weight, so this is likely the largest share. It may lower blood sugar.
Standardized extracts. Green tea extract is a rare but well-documented cause of liver injury.
Printed “HCL (from Berberis aristata Root 97% Berberine)”. Studies used 250 to 500 mg two or three times a day; the whole blend is 276 mg.
The last four in the blend, so likely the smallest shares. Ginseng may lower blood sugar; cayenne adds pepper heat.
Hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. No cinnamon anywhere on the label.

One number to fix
Why does the Slim Metrix label say 41.67% for chromium?
Because it uses an old Daily Value. 50 mcg is 41.67% of the old 120 mcg reference, but today's Daily Value is 35 mcg (NIH ODS: chromium fact sheet), so the same 50 mcg is about 143%.
| Reference | Daily Value | 50 mcg as a share |
|---|---|---|
| Old reference (printed on the label) | 120 mcg | 41.67% |
| Today's Daily Value | 35 mcg | About 143% |
Adults need about 20 to 35 mcg a day (NIH ODS: chromium fact sheet). Count any multivitamin too.
The 276 mg blend
What does a proprietary blend leave off the label?
It leaves off the amount of each ingredient inside it. The law asks only for the total weight, with ingredients listed from most to least by weight (FDA: labeling guide (proprietary blends)).
You know the order, not the split. Alpha lipoic acid comes first and banaba last. If the 276 mg were split equally, each ingredient would be about 34.5 mg; the real split is not published. Zinc and chromium have Daily Values, so they sit outside the blend.
Decoding the fine print
What do the percentages and codes on the Slim Metrix label mean?
They describe how each extract is made, not how much of it is in the capsule.
| Printed on the label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Green tea leaf, 98% polyphenols, 80% catechins, 50% EGCG | The extract is standardized: half of it is EGCG. |
| Milk thistle seed extract, 80% silymarin | The extract is mostly silymarin, the compound milk thistle studies focus on. |
| Berberine "HCL", 97% berberine | Berberine HCl, the hydrochloride salt form, printed in capitals. |
| Resveratrol, root extract 200:1 | A concentrated extract of Polygonum cuspidatum root (Japanese knotweed). |
| Cayenne fruit, 40,000 H.U. | Heat units, a measure of pepper heat. |
| Korean ginseng aerial extract, 8% ginsenosides | Made from the parts above ground, not the root. |
| Banaba leaf extract, 2% corosolic acid | Standardized to corosolic acid, the compound banaba studies measure (Miura et al.: banaba and corosolic acid (review)). |
The gaps
What is missing from the Slim Metrix label?
Five things: a caution panel, a storage line, a lot number, a best-before date and a company name. The label graphic shows none of them (Slim Metrix label graphic).
- Cautions appear only in the sales page footer: ask a physician first if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or living with a medical condition (Sales page, quickslimstep.com/frt)
- No manufacturer or distributor is named anywhere
- No cinnamon is listed, despite what some ads suggest
Your bottle
How do I check the label on my own Slim Metrix bottle?
Look at four things before your first capsule: the seal, the panel, the lot and anything that differs.
Seal
Make sure the seal under the cap is whole. If it is broken, do not take it.
Count and panel
Check for 30 capsules and compare the Supplement Facts with the transcript above.
Lot and date
Find the lot number and best-before date on the base or label, and write them down.
Call if it differs
Call +1 (855) 482-1597 with your order ID if anything is missing or different.
The seller's lot reference is SLI-26/SL-6736; it is a reference code, not lab proof. Read more on the batch check page or compare all ten ingredients.
Who checks labels
Is the Slim Metrix label FDA-approved?
No. FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness (FDA: what FDA does and doesn't approve). Makers answer for safety and truthful labels, and claims must note that FDA has not evaluated them (FDA: questions and answers on dietary supplements).
FAQ
Questions about the Slim Metrix label
How much chromium does one Slim Metrix capsule contain?
Each capsule holds 50 mcg of chromium as chromium picolinate, printed as 0.05 mg (Slim Metrix label graphic). That is about 143% of today's 35 mcg Daily Value, even though the label shows 41.67% (NIH ODS: chromium fact sheet). If you take insulin or metformin, ask your doctor before adding it.
How many capsules are in a bottle of Slim Metrix?
Thirty. The serving size is one capsule and there are 30 servings per container (Slim Metrix label graphic), so one bottle lasts 30 days at the label dose. Two bottles cover the full 60-day refund window.
Does Slim Metrix have sugar or calories?
Practically none: the label lists 0 calories and less than 1 g of total carbohydrate per capsule (Slim Metrix label graphic). There is no separate sugar line. It will not change your daily calorie count.
Where is the lot number on Slim Metrix?
Look on the base or the label of your own bottle. The brand's label graphic shows no lot number or best-before date. The seller gives a lot reference of SLI-26/SL-6736, but that is a reference code, not proof from a lab.
Does the Slim Metrix label name a manufacturer?
No. Neither the label graphic nor the sales page names a maker or distributor. This website is run by a U.S. stocking partner, not the maker, and checkout runs through BuyGoods. For order questions, call +1 (855) 482-1597 with your order ID.
Does the Slim Metrix label have a warning?
Not on the label graphic. The only caution is in the sales page footer, which says to ask a physician first if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition (Sales page, quickslimstep.com/frt). Berberine also should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding (NCCIH: goldenseal and berberine).
Does the Slim Metrix label give storage directions?
No. The label graphic shows no storage line. A sensible default is to keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Check your own bottle for a storage note.
